"SPC" Hand Car

SPC Hand Car

This modern handcar was built in the 1960s by Brooks Locomotive Works, based on a circa 1870 photograph of an SPC handcar. SPCRR used it for demonstration, visitor rides during special events, and for track inspection. It's finished in oil stain rather than varnish for a more period-appropriate look.
