Pajaro Valley Consolidated 215

This boxcar was built in 1894 by J.S. Hammond as one of 26 boxcars owned by the Pajaro Valley Railroad. We acquired it in January 2004 from a home near Gonzales, California, where it had been serving as a storage shed. The car is currently stored in the carbarn on loaner trucks and is non-operable due to lack of brakes and draft gear.
